Faceless Portraits Project

How often do we see people as they are? Do their hands tell you one thing that the face can not? How can our hands, so strong and able, be the source of gentle touches and warmth?

Faceless portraits is a personal photo project about hands. I started this project with the first photo of Bernadet. I find myself looking at hands more often now, which seems strange to some. For some reason, I am intrigued by the stories each line or scar tells.
